What Makes Nashville So Great? Part 1

I love the eclectic, artsy things Nashville has to offer. Whether you like the artwork, the performing arts or the music, there's plenty of really cool, really fun things around the city.

One of the types of 'art', are the bicycle racks all around the city - they were commissioned as part of the city's green and healthy living initiatives. Designed by local and regional artists, they are installed in many different parts of the city.

Near the Farmers Market you can find corn stalks
And tomato slices

Elsewhere in the city theres a (redundant) bike lock lock

Gears
Musical notes (well, we are Music City)
And my favorite, an old microphone, which is across from the Roundabout (a rotary for you New Englanders).
In the center of that roundabout is a statue whose official name is Musica. if you've been here you may have seen it. It's an interesting addition to Nashville - but that's a post for another day!!

I want to ride my bicycle
I want to ride my bike
I want to ride my bicycle
I want to ride it where I like
